About Gary Meshell
Founder
Gary Meshell founded CyberEdge Advisory to bring operator-level expertise to the decisions that define the AI era — where to build, how to power it, how to secure it, and how to scale it.
His career spans senior leadership at Amazon Web Services, Palo Alto Networks, and IBM — giving him a rare vantage point across hyperscale infrastructure, global cybersecurity ecosystems, and enterprise go-to-market strategy.
At AWS, Gary led global go-to-market strategy for AI and GPU data center infrastructure, working directly on next-generation facility build-outs including power selection, utility and grid engagement, site readiness, and redundancy design. He simultaneously built and led AWS's Global Partner Security Initiative, developing a security-focused ecosystem across zero trust, identity, and MDR/XDR.
At Palo Alto Networks, he served as VP of Global Alliances, owning strategy and co-sell execution with Tier-1 GSIs including IBM, Accenture, and Deloitte — and played a central role in the post-acquisition integration of IBM QRadar into Palo Alto's security platform.
At IBM, Gary held senior roles across cybersecurity and hybrid cloud, including CTO for IBM Financial Services Cybersecurity in North America, and served as an Advisory Board Member at FS-ISAC.
Today, through CyberEdge Advisory, Gary advises enterprises, investors, and technology providers on AI data center design, power strategy, cybersecurity architecture, and go-to-market execution. He bridges hardware economics, power availability, thermal design, and security governance — helping clients scale AI while navigating regulatory, resiliency, and energy constraints.
He works with hyperscalers, enterprises, and PE/VC firms — translating technical complexity into board-level decisions, diligence frameworks, and roadmaps that unlock scalable, secure AI infrastructure.
